The
auction buyer arrives at the auction site and registers with the cashier
for a buyer's number. The registration is complete with proper I.D.
which is preferably a driver's license.
Upon registration completion the buyer
is now ready to view merchandise to determine items of interest.
The auction begins with one of the ring
men selecting the first item up for auction, then the fun begins.
Once the auctioneer states "sold", the buyer's number and
final selling price are given to the clerk to record.
When the buyer has completed his purchases
and is ready to leave, he will go to the cashier where he registered
and "check out.". The cashier will verify all purchases
with the buyer.
It is recommended that the buyer looks
at the receipts to verify all purchases are paid for and are correct.
Cash or checks with proper I.D, are
accepted.
